This collage was inspired by a book that I read as a child. It talked about making your own path and that sometimes you would feel out of place, but to keep going and do things the way that you thought they should be done and you will shine! For “Different Drummer“, I used Thai heavy embossed mulberry paper and a variety of printed Japanese Chiyogami Yuzen papers. This collage combines both shape and texture.
