Pop Art Guitars

The Artful Union of Painted Strokes and Music Notes

Guitars, music, art color… all go together so well. Pop Art Guitars came into being effortlessly and organically. A small non-playable guitar found its way to me and my first instinct was to give it a new life by painting it and displaying it. I’ve always loved bright colors – “yellow submarine style”, “pop art”, and that seemed to lend itself to giving life, energy and joy. I thought it was one and done, but I had the opportunity to paint a playable guitar. I enjoyed it so much that I started seeking other guitars that could use some love. Some are new playable beginner’s guitars, some are playable guitars that needed some repair work and have been refurbished, and some are beyond repair but still have some joy to give. The non-playable (display-only) guitars have been given a new life as decorative wall art.
